The National Preprint Network
Advertisers
- The National Preprint Network (NPN) is a joint venture linking together major market newspapers throughout the country.
- The alliance connects member newspapers' paid and/or Total Market Coverage (TMC) programs, providing clients the ability to efficiently execute a regional or national preprint buy.
- Capabilities include the ability to target high-indexing populations specific to advertisers' needs, offer one rate, one point of contact, and the opportunity to reach the entire market through a combination of newspaper subscribers and the mail.
- Each market provides unduplicated ZIP code penetration with a combined PAID and/or TMC combination.
Newspapers
- There is no downside risk for newspapers that join NPN: the program is 100% opt-in/opt-out; all proposed business is incremental; and every member has the opportunity to be both a seller and a distributor of preprints.
- Newspapers have the potential to provide clients with the best national preprint program ever created. Within each market we are superior to our competition.... If we link all of our markets together, think about the value proposition for our clients.
Ease of Use
- All administrative functions of the program are standardized; profiling; mapping; order entry; copy standards; delivery standards; packaging specifications; pricing; billing, etc.
Who can Join
- Any Newspaper with a preprint program that meets the following criteria: the combination of paid subscribers and/or TMC reaches at least 75,000 total households publishes a Sunday product and one other day.
A unified program has benefits for both advertisers AND members.
